Happy Sunday, peeps! Are you staying warm? Brrrr, it is still cold here in PA and I am trying to stay warm in my little stamping haven! Ann is our hostess today for the Paper Players with this fun sketch:
That little tag peeking out could be used for so many things! I made two birthday cards for today, this one is the feminine version:
I hadn’t done a vintage card for a while, so I pulled out a bunch of sets and did some collage stamping in Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake and Gold Encore, and mounted it on a piece of Brushed Gold cardstock for my pocket. You can’t see it too well, but I also stamped the Fresh Prints polka-dotted paper with the retired Floral background stamp! And here’s my tag for the pocket, made with the Scallop Tag Topper punch:
I also embossed the tag with the Adorning Accents heart folder, diecut the sentiment with a Chalk Talk die, and stamped the background in gold with the French script from Nature Walk (retired):
For a final metallic touch, I wrapped the pocket and added a pull using the Gold Baker’s Twine available in the Occasions mini! And here’s the inside:
For the masculine version, I used some Fresh Prints papers:
using a couple of fun birthday sets, the Tasteful Trim die and some embossing folders and punches!
I hope you will play along with our fun sketch and be sure to check out what the Players came up with….they are AMAZING!!!

Such a cute sketch! Love the cards especially the s/s/s one......wowza!
As a vintage-lover, I admire your collage creativity. Awesome! (Well, and your sense of humor too!)
Oh I really love that vintage card! I did a few woo and ahh when I saw it. They are both very cool.
That tag punch looks like fun.
We got about 4 inch last night. It just keep pilling up. Now tonight we go into a deep freeze. Will winter every end?
Two super cards.
Your feminine vintage card is exquisite. Love every detail of it.
Great cards.
I loved the polka-dot DP stamped over with the floral! Dots are wonderful but can be a little too perky sometimes.
Not one, but two cards using the sketch! I must say that the first one has captured my vintage heart. I love the rich colors and your gorgeous collage style stamping. Just beautiful. And that last comment about Cassidy eating the snow cracks me up!
Both cards are wonderful, LeAnne…love the sketch with the pull out tag! My favorite is the gorgeous vintage collage. These colors are so pretty together…just beautiful! Creating these beauties in your cozy craft room is the perfect way to spend a freezing cold day! Hugs!
I love your vintage card LeAnne - the detail is exquisite and the colour combination works really well. The hidden tag is such a fun element too!
Oh wow! Love both but my favourite is your totally vintage beauty! Absolutely stunning LeAnne!
when you said she likes to eat the snow the first thing I thought was "oh no I hope they don't have a dog!" lol!!
Great projects today! love the details!
I really do like your feminine version of the sketch. Thanks for sharing LeAnne. I must put these papers on my 'need' list.
I was totally blown away with your first card...lots of stamping inside and out! Then, I see your second card and I'm thinking, "Wow! You spent a lot of time with these card!" Very nice!
Love both the cards, but my favorite is that first. It has such a wonderful vintage feel to it.
