Happy Wednesday, everyone! A quick little card today, unfortunately a sympathy card, using The Shabby Tea Room inspiration photo and a sketch from RetroSketches:
Isn’t that a cozy inspiration photo? Love it! And here we go:
My card base is 4 1/4”, Sahara Sand, with some MME Lost & Found Sunshine papers on which I did some stitching, then stamped some swirls, polka dots and butterflies. My Tiny Teacup (ret SU) was also stamped in Sahara Sand ink and, channeling my inner Ann, embellished with lots of pearls!
The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede and is from Blessings from Heaven. Thanks for popping in today!
Reading her Cheerio book:
and eating them too!

Very sweet, LeAnne! Great way to combine the two challenges. Love the soft, neutral colors and the "shabby" layers.
Your card is so lovely! It will surely bring comfort! I love the pearls on the teacup and the beautiful papers and stamping!
I forgot to say that your sweet pictures and the Cheerios picture brought back memories of my son at that age! He still loves his Cheerios at 9 years!
How pretty! The stitching and pearls really make the card! Thanks so much for joining us at The Shabby Tea Room!!
Sahara Sand never looked so good!
After three years, I finally have half of Joe's computer desk all to myself!! (half beats nothing) And I'm digging out my old stores of papers and punches and having such a grand time. (I found out that cheap ink pads do NOT stand the test of time.) But everything from Stampin Up is still just as good as the day I bought them 8 to 10 years ago!
love your card LeAnne. So pretty!
Oh wow I love this soft palette on this gorgeous card. You are so good at doing the collage style stamping. The pearls on the cup are wonderful. Great stitching;)
Sweet pictures of Cassidy reading her Cheerio book...heehee and eating them too;)
