Happy Sunday, everyone! Today it is my turn to host the Paper Players challenge, and I have chosen a fresh spring palette for our latest color challenge:
I took my inspiration from a cute apron DH got me for Christmas:
Aren’t those cupcakes sweet? He did a good job picking this one out, and I love it and wear it all the time! I even thought about making a cupcake card, but I pulled out a set that hasn’t gotten inky for a long time: Betsy’s Blossoms! I needed a thank you for a special customer, so here we go
:
:
My Coastal Cabana card base is actually a little narrower than 4 1/4” so that the leaves hanging off the edge would still fit into the envelope. It’s really a simple card, lots of stamping in the challenge colors and then cutting and popping up some of the elements:
and here’s the inside
I did do a little paper piercing as well for some added interest! I love these colors together and hope you do too! I can’t wait to see what you create with them. Share them with us at the Paper Players blog so we can be inspired as well! And you can check out what the rest of the design team created here at their blogs:
Dana shared this picture on FB; I am not quite sure what she was telling Cassidy, but the look on her face was too funny not to share!Enjoy your day!
