Happy Wednesday, peeps! I promised a couple more crafty things to show you! My sweet friend Linda L. made me a bunch of these wonderful ice skate diecuts, and I couldn’t wait to use them! They were a little bigger than I anticipated, almost too big for a card, but I found these cool burlap-covered stretcher bars at a local store, about 6x9”, and they were perfect for my wintry scene!
I was thrilled that I had everything already in my craft stash to make this! The bells were a snag from last year’s sale at a craft store; the greenery was in my bin, and the ribbon was from Cassidy’s birthday party! I stamped the banner in Real Red, added some shading and rhinestones, then put it all together. The skate blades were painted with Platinum shimmer paint from SU (ret) and I colored the heel with a marker!

I am so coming to your house for Christmas! Those skates are fabulous! I just can't get Emma to sit still long enough these days for any cuddling! Now that she is walking it is all about speed laps around the house!
