CTS 36

Happy Saturday, peeps!  Just a quick card this morning, CAS it is, for the (CAS)E This Sketch challenge this week:

I went a bit literal here; I had this gorgeous piece of Epic Day This & That paper, and I wanted to use it for something that wouldn’t hide the pretty pattern.  I stamped the larger image from Everything Eleanor in white and added the bird in Stazon along with a sentiment from my new favorite set, A Dozen Thoughts:

I did a little shadow around the outside of the panel to make it stand out a bit and then added a few random pearls and it’s done!

Easy peasy!  Be sure to come back tomorrow to see what the Paper Players have come up with for their next challenge, too!

I am blessed to have a haircutting friend who comes to my door, so Dana asked her if she would trim Cassidy’s hair a bit. 

Cassidy sat very, very still (amazing):

But she wasn’t real happy about the squirt of water on her hair:

But Mommy was there to hug her when it was all over:

And she got to help clean up!  (Can  you see how much she took off?  Not much!)

And for being a good girl, she got to run in the puddles!
