Howdy, peeps!  TGIF!  I have been trying to make some samples for my club girls…..the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches this week was super-duper!  You know how I love my “threes”!  Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:

I just love this pretty print from the Print Poetry DP pad….so fresh & springy!  I recently got both the butterfly punches, so I have been using them a lot too, especially after seeing this cute card from Mary Fish.  What a simple but effective idea!  I also used the butterfly from Collage Curios to stamp over my sentiment from Fabulous Phrases:

Nothing says spring like butterflies!  Thanks for visiting today!

Thank for you the many get-well wishes for Cassidy!  She is feeling better, just a little runny nose….lots of energy, so I know she’s on the mend!  She is really into “playing” now….especially dressing and undressing her dolls.  Over and over and over again!  And since she can’t quite get the clothes on and off herself, guess who gets to play along?!

This poor thing has on two sets of pants!!! LOL!

Lovely!! I love the patterns popping through, LeAnne! Such a great card for a morning like today where I woke up to 4" of snow. It's a promise that spring is coming, even if it is coming too slowly for me. ;)

I think Cassidy's learning from your cardmaking style that layers are totally cool if she has two pairs of pants on the doll. :)

What a pretty, spring-y card! I love the negative images of the butterflies and that floral sheet of dsp is my favorite in the paper stack. Thanks for joining us at FMS this week!

Really a sweet card. I love the butterflies punched out. Very cute.
So glad Cassidy is feeling better. Did grandma also make some doll clothes? So sweet that she plays with her baby dolls.
I am waiting for the moving truck right now.

Those butterflies pack a lot of punch! (lol I just amuse myself!) It's a great effect and makes a wonderful spring card!

Love the negative images here & I'm big fan of that DSP, too. Thanks to for link to Mary's card, love her CAS design, too.

LOL I'm laughing at Linda. Great card; I love your take on Mary's idea. I need to get that smaller punch so that I can try it out!

Poor doll and her two pairs of pants. I can't get over how much Cassidy has grown since I started following you. I hope she's 100% soon. We have the runny nose thing here too. Not fun when they can't blow it and clean it themselves!

Gorgeous card with that trio of butterflies! One look at this dsp and I had to buy that paper pad, so clearly it's not just me who likes it so much :)
