ColourQ179

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  How’s it goin’?  Arielle has a lovely inspiration photo for us at the ColourQ today:

Aren’t these felt flowers sweet?  I wish I had felt in all these colors, but I didn’t, but I did stamp some Summer Silhouette flowers for my card today:

LeAnne_CQC179

My Confetti White card base has a Crumb Cake mat, stamped with the Distressed Dots BG stamp, and each of the flowers was stamped with the challenge colors and punched with the 1” square punch and a matching mat punched with the Postage Stamp punch.  The Natural Trim ribbon is a great “organic” complement to the earthy colors, don’t you think?  And I used my trusty Stamp-a-ma-Jig to line up the “hello” from Storybook Friends:

I cut all the sentiments apart from the images in that set….they’re fun and cute to use on their own, as you can see here!  My sketch is #241 from Create with Connie & Mary, turned on its side:

I hope that these spring-fresh colors will inspire you to create something fun!  You can find more inspiration at the ColourQ blog, where all the designers have created some awesome projects!  Share yours with us too!  Can’t wait to see it!

Cassidy thought playing with a chip clip was great fun!

Leanne, I love your card, it's amazing how you put those colors together into a beautiful piece, I'd never have come up with that combo.
And your grand-daughter is just gorgeous. I think I come to visit here just as much to see what she's up to.
BTW, if you didn't know over on Cupcake Inspirations we're having a 200th challenge celebration, lots of prizes to be had.
