Paper Players 114

DSCF8371

Hi everyone!  It’s Paper Players time, and Ann has a very sweet sketch for us today:

The Jingle Belles had a cute challenge this week, “Dashing Through the Snow”, so I decided to make a Christmas card with the sketch:

PP114-LeAnne-001

I went pretty clean and simple with this, using non-traditional “snow” colors of Always Artichoke and Riding Hood Red!!!  I thought the little silhouette from Welcome Christmas was appropriate for dashing through the snow!

And I can’t seem to get away from glimmer paper---I used it as my mat—and added a sparkly snowflake too.  Although it’s hard to see, there is a border of snow-playing children stamped at the bottom:

This is certainly a fun sketch with lots of possibilities—fall, Halloween, birthday, Christmas—you name it!  We can’t wait to see what you do with it, and be sure to share it with us at the Paper Players blog, where you can also see what all the other fabulously creative designers shared this week too! As always, if you have any questions about anything on my card, just shoot me an email!

LeAnne, this is soooo sweet! I love the mix of papers and that image is still one of my favorite stamp sets! Love all the glimmer accents and my favorite part is the stamped kids across the bottom, it adds so much!

Love the sparkle on this beauty! Fab Christmas card! Thanks for the tip. I have been doing that for the last year but it's the gazillion folders I have before I started to label them.
What a sweet little child! They are so much fun to have around!

Love the vintage feel of your card LeAnne, with the modern twist of the bright silhouette image - looks awesome! The glimmer accents are cool (need to go shopping, lol) & the stamped DSP is perfect. :)
