ColourQ101, JUGS 100

DSCF6465

Happy Tuesday, peeps! I am lamenting my lack of mojo today, hopefully it will be coming back soon; I think it must have stayed in Delaware at the beach! Arielle has a gorgeous color combo for you today:

cqc101

It’s actually close to the combo I did last week! I wanted to use the JUGS sketch 100 from this week, too:

JUGS100

and came up with this:

CQC101-LeAnne

It sort of looks like it is glowing, doesn’t it? That Orchid Opulence is a tough color to photograph! I used some elements from Best Friends Forever and Tiny Tags, along with SU’s bird punch. The body is stamped with the polka dot image and the wing is stamped with the crosshatch heart image. I hung a few little tags from the Pool Party ruffled ribbon:

Unfortunately, you can’t see them all! I like the inside more:

Used my leftover piece from the Tasteful Trims die and a sentiment from Friendly Phrases. This card is for someone who did a really, really, nice thing for us—and I’ll share that later on! I hope you can participate in the ColourQ this week—we’d love to see your creation---pop on over there and show us your stuff!

While on vacation, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend a little time with a new stamping/blogging friend, Linda Fisher! She has a wonderful blog and with a punch in her hand, is one of the most creative people I know! Her punch art is AMAZING! (You need to check out her blog, seriously!) Here we are, checking out the aisles of a LSS:

She is as sweet as can be and I am thrilled we got to meet; I look forward to seeing her again soon, maybe during my next trip to see my dad!

Thank you for all the thoughts & prayers for Cassidy. She is still very sick….poor thing is just miserable. I did snag a picture of her from her alternate babysitter on a happier day:

Hopefully she’ll be smiling like this again soon! Thanks for visiting!

I'm already standing by my mailbox waiting for my punch to arrive from SU. Yes. I know it hasn't even been mailed yet, but in my mind.....

I'd LOVE to see where you stamp (BEFORE you straighten it up).

Sorry to hear Cassidy still isn't her spunky self. How is your cold? You are in my prayers.

Beautiful card, LeAnne! I really love that bird! So sorry that Cassidy is sick and that you came home with a cough. Take care of yourself. We are finally down in the 90's in the day, 60's at night! Really nice weather, just need rain as the fires are starting to break out down here because of the high winds. Have a wonderful day!

Such a beautiful card! I just love the color combination & the bird is so pretty. What fun that you were able to get together with Linda. Her website is amazing & she does have so many amazing ideas using the punches. I don't know how she does it. I'm just glad she's willing to share with the rest of us.

These blue and purple colors just sing to me for some reason, and now I'm jumping off the fence and ordering that tiny tag punch! I've wanted it forever, and your card just pushed me over the edge! So cute!
Glad to hear Miss Cassidy's feeling a little better!

{Poor lil' angel! Sorry to hear that the wee girl is feeling poorly - she's FAR to adorable and precious to be feeling bad! Wah!} Meanwhile - YOUR card! *CLUNK!* THAT's reason even enough to feel better - have the sweet baby stare at that!!! That's what I'm talkin' about! Love your use of the Just Us Girls Sketch - THANK YOU, sooooo much, for joining us this week and celebrating the big 100 with us!
