Happy Thursday everyone! It’s soggy here in PA..a good time to be inside stamping! For my Christmas card this week, I am using the sketch from ala Card Monkey:
and here is my card---I used a few liberties with the sketch!
I am trying to incorporate fabric into some of my projects and I thought this piece would be pretty with my vintage snowman. I used sticky strip to adhere it and made it a bit off-kilter and “wrinkly” to match the vintage theme. I also smudged the edges with Tea Stain ink from the Distressing Kit.
If I had been feeling a tad bit more energetic I would have added some glitter to the snowflakes and maybe stamped on the background, but as it is, it’s going to be a glitter-less card! Mr Snowman was stamped in Stazon, colored with reinkers, an aquapainter and a White Watercolor Crayon. I used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig to stamp the sentiment from Christmas Greetings to fit the oval punch. Thanks for visiting today!
A few people asked me about my stamp pad storage caddy from this post. Unfortunately, because of SU restrictions, I can’t post here on my blog where I got it. I can try to answer individual emails when possible. Please, as a reminder….if you ask me a question in the comment section, but do not give me your email address or if you post anonymously, there is no way I can answer your question!!! Several people have asked me something recently and I have felt bad because I wanted to answer but had no way to respond! I don’t want people to think I am rude!!! LOL! You can always email me at leanne dot pugliese at gmail dot com!

Well, now you're really going to have me stalking my UPS man today. :) My Snow Much Fun set is in the order that should be arriving in about 12 more hours... Love the coloring on the Crumb Cake and that yummy fabric! Gorgeous as always.

Great snowman and I love the 'tea stained' fabric!
Oh my gosh! Absolutely adorable, LeAnne! I love the fabric! A perfect card for all winter long!
This is fun and yet so beautiful. Looks like you have found a way to use your fabric. I love this set, too! Have a fun day.
CUTE CUTE CUTE...now I'm in the mood for snow!!! You have the knack for doing those little things that just make a card pop! ie. the Christmas greeting on this card one layer tucked underneath and the top layer peeps over top! Really cute.......have I said cute yet!
LeAnne, your work always AMAZES and inspires me, thank you for the kind comment! Love your sweet little snowman...it's never too early to make Christmas cards, hehe!
Totally stunning card! I just love this snowman - I have a thing for them and he is fast becoming one of my all time faves! Love the use of fabric too. Just got a new order with some fabric in it and can't wait to get home and play now. Hope you are not getting flooded out - friends and family are reporting some nasty flooding. Stay warm and dry. Hope Cassidy is feeling better.

I love the look of your card. The white snowflakes on the Crumb Cake card stock look awesome.
LOVE this one LeAnne. I need to incorporate that fabric too. Thank you for the super idea. The white watercolor crayon worked very nicely. Your snowman came out perfect!
Love it! The fabric is amazing and so is your colouring!
Wow, there are a number of things I want to remember about this card - I bought that fabric last year and I never used it. I'm thankful I can still us it this year and it does go so well with these snowmen.
Fantastic idea to use the white watercolour crayon!!!! - Duh!!!!
I also love how you've arranged your sentiment with half on the scallop and half overlapping the picture without the scallop underneath. Very Cool. Thanks so much for the inspiration, LeAnne!
Adorable card, LeAnne! LOVE that snowman image!
OH MY no Glitter!! lol I love this card. The way you put the snowman on the card does remind me of vintage cards a lot. The fabric is a great touch, I need to do the same, I buy it and it sits in a pile in a cute little basket.lol. I have the same problem with people asking questions and then no email or their comment has a "no-reply" on it, I don't understand it??!! It makes me a little Batty sometimes. Thanks for hangin with the Monkey at A La Card.... Lol
Hugs

Ooohhhh boy LeAnne!! You know I'm absolutely loving this card...even without the glitter! Haha! I love how you brought this little frosty guy to life with all of the detail in your coloring. I really want to buy some fabric, too. You may have just pushed that purchase over the edge for me. You are such an enabler with your beautiful cards, my friend! *hugs!*
LeAnne, This card is just so adorable. I love everything about it. I also have the fabric, but haven't used it, so you've inspired me to try and use it somehow. Congrats on being Monkey Princess this week.
