Flowers for Friends

Last week I did a workshop for some of my experienced stampers; the hostess had wanted to learn to make flowers, so we did!  The first one used nine scallops punched with SU’s Scallop Circle punch; I used the Peach Parfait DP from the hostess pack:

The flower center was a rhinestone brad; the background was made using the Faux Linen technique I saw on Ann’s blog—so easy and they loved it!  I also did some distressing with the distressing kit and the sprizter.  The leaves & sentiment are from Day of Gratitude; cardstock colors were Peach Parfait and Pear Pizzazz.

We also learned to make rolled roses; this is the sample I showed them:

They all made pink roses and they were quite pretty!  It was a great workshop and we had a blast!!!  TFL!

  3. Those are great little flowers. I adore the rolled roses, but I often mail cards and I could see that card being a real pain to mail off to somebody {although, it would cheer their day up}

  5. The flowers are wonderful - but I especially liked the faux silk - really added a great touch. And of course the best part is the baby pic - sigh - she's such a cutie!!
