Happy Monday, peeps! Did everyone survive the snowstorms? We didn't have as much snow as predicted--maybe 8" or so, but it was VERY cold and windy! John will tackle the clearing today while I stay inside and cheer him on!
It's time for another Atlantic Hearts sketch and I decided to make another Valentine card, this time in non-traditional colors! Here's the sketch:
It's time for another Atlantic Hearts sketch and I decided to make another Valentine card, this time in non-traditional colors! Here's the sketch:
I had some DSP left from last year's Wildflower Birthday, so I cut three panels, adhered them to a Pool Party card base and added some gold foil accents! Here we go:
The gold hearts are from Be Mine Stitched Framelits and the little swirls are from Patterned Pumpkins. It's such a challenge to photograph the foil! The sentiment, stamped in Pool Party ink, is from PS: I Love You, diecut with the Stylish Shapes dies:
I added some Pool Party and Gold gems for fun. On the inside, a couple more sentiments from PS:I Love You:
This is really a simple card, but I love the colors! I hope you'll play along with our Atlantic Hearts sketch this week. Be sure to check out all the DT samples on Wednesday at the blog!
Eden was not a happy camper; the snow really put a damper on her outdoor activities!
Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

What a beauty, LeAnne! Love all the gold on this! Poor Eden, this cold is enough to dampen anyone's spirits! Miss Bailee isn't keen on the cold or the wind but she loves the snow! Me, not so much. I am hoping this is our last hooray for this winter! Ready for spring! :)
Love these colors! You make the sketch look easy!
These hearts are so pretty in the gold and a perfect match for the pretty paper! I'm glad you made it through the storm well. We didn't have it as bad as it could be. Now I'll wait for it to melt. It might take a few days so I see some crafting time ahead.
It's snowing, blowing, and really cold here, LeAnne - and it doesn't look like it will leave us soon!
I'm very happy to see this delightful Valentine - love the gold with your pretty blue!

Oh I love your Pool Party & GOLD!! And the ps I love you set is an ancient one that I keep returning to. And frankly I love a wood mount stamp set. You really get the feeling that you are STAMPING!! Call me old fashioned!
Great use of the DSP!! I have the DSP but wasn't sure what do do with it. It would make a nice anniversary card, too...I may try it.
I have everything except the 2 small heart dies.
Thanks for the inspiration!!! Beautiful card!
Poor Eden. She looks soooo sad! She didn't want to go out or you didn't want to go out with her??? It looks very cold.
Gorgeous!! I am in love with your combo of Pool Party and gold!
I love how you can take three pieces of DSP, add some beautiful gold hearts and a couple swirls, add a sentiment and have a beautiful card! Eden cracks me up but I am so sorry she can't play outside! Hopefully soon!
