Happy Monday, peeps! After a whirlwind weekend, I am ready to hunker down and clean up my craft room---and the rest of my house, LOL! But we had beautiful weather and it was a lovely weekend!
It's time for a new Atlantic Hearts sketch:
I saw a cute challenge at Peace on Earth:
I believe this digital image came from the Graphics Fairy, and I printed my Santa on some sturdy computer paper, then fussy-cut him out and mounted him on a stitched square of Basic White cardstock. I found some fun candy cane paper to mount it all on, adding a few diecut holly leaves and a heat-embossed sentiment:
This vintage sentiment from Flonzcraft seemed to work with my vintage Santa:
I think this sketch is very versatile and could be used for most any occasion or image! I hope you'll play along with us at Atlantic Hearts this week!
Cassidy enrolled in Life Sciences class this year as an elective, and she had to take a baby home for the weekend! This is "Elisha"! He cries, needs to be fed and have his diaper changed!
Apparently his eyes don't close, however!!! She said he awakened her three times on Friday night, but only once on Saturday night. It was interesting watching her take care of him at church on Sunday! He certainly got a lot of attention! But I think she'll be glad to turn him in on Monday!!!
Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

I love your vintage-esque Santa, LeAnne... seems perfect for you and your challenge!
I am on the fence about the baby dolls but tell Cassidy I have a friend [and her daughter] who sleeps with her eyes open!!! Creeped me out!

Beautiful christmas card, congrats 😊💐 happy day
Ooooh, what a fabulous vintage Santa he is! Terrific card, LeAnne. Don't think I would like this little dude staring at me all night!
You have the best vintage pieces, LeAnne! This Santa takes me back to my childhood! I'm sure Cassidy did much better with her "baby" than Luke did. I wish you could have heard Kelli's description of their weekend with that baby! lol
I love that vintage Santa though vintage does sound old and those are the Santa's I grew up with! lol! Good job to Cassidy for taking care of that baby doll that is similar to the real thing! Babies can be a lot of work!
Love this ... I'm partial to vintage Santa's so your beautiful card really spoke to me!! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace on Earth challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.

What a jolly Santa LeAnne - love the vintage look! That open-eyed baby is a little disturbing for sure; sounds like it might have served as a great life lesson for Cassidy though!
Nothing better than a vintage Santa! And those “real” doll babies freak me out…lol…
