RRCB256 Hello Sunshine

Happy Thursday, peeps! I have a fun little card today using the sketch from RetroRubber:

I confess that this sketch did stump me for a while, and I confess that one of the dies I used is new, but my sentiment is from 2022 and all the papers are retired as well!  So here we go:

I've been hoarding this bird paper from Rings of Love (a few years back) so I matched it up with a few patterned DSPs.  I used the Notes & Totes die to create the slats, and the sentiment, stamped on a piece of Country Woods DSP, is from Special Moments (2022).

I like how all the colors work together!

And since I have a bird card, check out what I found in one of my hanging baskets on my porch:

I had seen a couple of purple finches flying around it, so I am assuming they're the ones who built it, but no eggs! I just love how they wound the hanging stuff (I am so bad with plant names) around the outside of the nest!!!  I'll keep you posted if anything else happens!  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

I totally understand why you've been hoarding that darling paper, LeAnne! but those birds are just too beautiful not to share so I thank you for that! A very fun little 'fence' on which to hang your sentiment!
I will be waiting to see the eggs!

Oh my goodness those birds are so cute! You've done a marvelous job with the sketch, LeAnne. That's one sweet little nest. Hope some eggs show up soon!

Such pretty paper that is perfect for hoarding, LeAnne! I'm glad you could bear to cut some and put it on a beautiful card! We had a Carolina Wren nest in a geranium one year. Two hatched and it was such fun watching them grow and fledge!
