Hi peeps! Happy Sunday! Did you remember to turn your clocks ahead? We turn ours ahead on Saturday afternoon so it's not quite such a shock on Sunday mornings, LOL! It's Paper Players time, and Joanne is our hostess today with a gorgeous color palette! Check it out:
I had an urge to do some watercoloring, so I pulled out Ornate Style, which hasn't seen ink for a long time! So here we go:
I didn't want to use black ink for the outline, so I used some Memento London Fog ink, which is a soft blue-gray, to stamp on some watercolor paper. I colored the floral image with an aquapainter and ink, and then fussy-cut it out:
I embossed a piece of Seaside Spray with an Altenew cover plate, adhered the image, then added some sequins and a bit of rose metallic thread. The sentiments, outside and ink, are from the retired Watercolor Wonder:
These colors are just beautiful together, and I am glad Joanne chose them! I used the CAS Colours & Sketches sketch for my layout:
I hope you'll check out what the design team did over at the Paper Players blog, and share your creation with us too! Thanks for popping in today!

Ahhhhh, those flowers are colored beautifully and I love the design in the background! I turned our clocks ahead in early afternoon too; otherwise I'd have been scrambling to get that done this morning LOL
I don't have to tell you how much I love the debossed panel, do I? A beautiful sea of blue for your pretty bouquet, LeAnne! You should color more often - and those fussy cutting skills are pretty sharp, too!!

This is beautiful LeAnne! Love those spring flowers but it's the die plate that has really caught my eye - I feel like I could do with one or two of these in my collection! Lovely use of my colours and great take on the CC&S sketch too!
Truly beautiful. Those colors make me so happy and your watercoloring is magical.
I like your soft watercolored bouquet! It looks wonderful on the background panel. Pretty card today, Leanne!
This turned out so gorgeous! The blooms are beautiful.

This is gorgeous LeAnne! I am going to have to snag myself some Londo Fog ink that is for sure! I agree with Michele, you should color more often as you are extremely good at it. Thanks for inspiring me with this beauty! Have a great week!
I just had to let you know how I gasped when I saw your gorgeous card in the line up. Your watercoloring couldn't be prettier and I love how you dressed it up with great details.
