Happy Sunday, peeps! Hope your weekend is going well so far! Time for another Paper Players challenge with the talented Ann as our hostess! She has a pretty fall color challenge for us this week:
Some of these colors are in the new Come to Gather DSP, so I paired a few of the patterns with some Merry Merlot DSP to come up with this:
It follows the Fab Friday sketch:
and I used some strips to create the horizontal elements; I used the woodgrain paper for my background, and I cut an open circle from the Merry Merlot DSP, along with a MM leaf diecut, for a focal image. I hand-cut a little tag from the same woodgrain paper and stamped a sentiment from Here's a Card, then added some sequins, a faceted element and a little twine bow!
As I do often, I created another card with a totally different feel using the same colors! This one uses the sketch from FMS, the CAS on Sunday challenge to use a diecut sentiment, and the Festive Friday Inspo challenge; I used stripes, a bird, and pearls:
And here we go! For this card, I hand-painted some stripes in Pretty Peacock on a piece of diecut Whisper White, then used my Stamparatus to ink flowers from Perennial Birthday in Merry Merlot and Versamark, then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder and watercolored them in. They're not too hard to fussy-cut, so after doing that, I mounted them on a "wreath" from Sweetly Swirled, stamped in Cajun Craze:
I masked off part of another sentiment from Here's a Card and stamped it on the striped piece to go with my diecut sentiment and bird, which are both from the Well Written dies, and I added some speckles and pearls to finish it off:
Please be sure to stop by the Paper Players blog to see the fabulous creations the DT has made, then share yours with us as well! Can't wait to see what you create!

Love both these cards LeAnne - the first one distinctly more autumnal than the second which has quite a fresh feel with all that white space. Love the wood grain on the first and the sweet birdie on the second - two great cards today!
I love it when you make two totally different cards. As soon as I saw the first one, I knew what sketch you had used. The second sketch threw me for a loop, but not you! Job well done. Have a blessed Sunday.
I love the second card. More and more I'm being drawn to cards with more white space. Thanks LeAnne!
I love how you always surprise us with multiple cards! Love them both! The layout on the leaf card is awesome and I really like how you used just a frame of the circle. That little tag is adorable, too. Your second card is SO fresh and fun. The colors really pop on the clean layout and thanks for the reminder to use the Well Written dies more often. I aways forget about them. PS: thanks for playing along with us at Festive Friday this week!
What a gorgeous duo of great designs! While I love the rustic feel of the first one, I really love the crisp look of the second card! Gorgeous!!
So pretty LeAnne - the colors are gorgeous together, and I love the layering of papers you've done! Perfect Fall cards! Thanks so much for playing at Fab Friday!
I like them both LeAnne! The woodgrain paper is marvelous and I like your pretty little wreath!
Two beauties. I love how the same colors can yield such different designs!
These are both so pretty and so different! I love all of the different elements you've combined to make your pretty FMS card. Always a pleasure to see you in the gallery!
Both of your cards are great, LeAnne! The colors are so interesting, I used them in the same challenges as you! LOL!
LeAnne, I love both of these cards but the FMS one steals my heart. All that wonderful white space allows your focal elements to shine. Gorgeous! I predict it will be in the gallery this week
