FMS310 Peace On Earth

Hi everyone!  Yay, it's Friday and we have a quiet weekend planned after a busy week!  I made another Christmas card using the current Freshly Made Sketches sketch:
I have barely used Carols of Christmas, so I pulled it out along with the Merry Music Specialty DSP to create my really simple monchromatic card:

I am still on the fence about stamping the big sentiment on the DSP, but I really wanted to highlight these papers, so I just went with it!  I added a vellum layer so that the words could show through from the black paper, and just to break up the plainness, I added a strip of Silver Foil along with a rhinestone-embellished star:

I also rounded the opposite corners of each of the panels, since it was a fairly plain card, just to give it a little more interest!  So happy you popped it today!

I don't have any Cassidy pictures today, but I thought I would show you the progress on the kitchen!  These pictures are a little rough as the sun was not cooperative!  The paint on the walls really does not look green, it is more a grayish-blue, but the cabinets are pretty spot on:

We are getting a quartz countertop, which will be measured on Tuesday and maybe it will be installed before Thanksgiving!  I am keeping my fingers crossed!  And here's what the flooring now looks like:

We are thrilled with it so far!!  I will be happy to get my kitchen back in the house, it's getting pretty cold out in that garage, LOL!  Have a wonderful day and be blessed!
