PP350 Nance's Sketch

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Hope you are having a good weekend so far!  Nance is our awesome hostess for today's Paper Players challenge with a wonderful sketch:

This gorgeous paper is from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP series.....it is swoon-worthy! I let it do most of the work:

I adhered it to a thick white cardstock base and added a row of Pick a Pattern washi tape along the left edge.  The sentiment from Colorful Seasons was stamped in Calypso Coral and a little Glitter Enamel Dot was added for some interest, and finally I pleated some of the new Classic Weave ribbon in Soft Sky for my accent.  I will say that you need a strong adhesive to make this ribbon stick...I ended up using Tear 'N Tape to finally get it to behave!

It's also time to say goodbye to our latest group of Paper Players guest designers, and we are so happy to have a new crew waiting in the wings!  Thank you to Crystal and Valentyna for their beautiful designs they shared with us over the last six months!  Deanne is staying on for another term, and we want to welcome Jan Clothier and Annie Abrahamson to the team!  They'll be starting in July, so stay tuned!!  Meanwhile, check out the Paper Players blog to see ALL the cool creations this week!

Cassidy had a little lemonade stand at our garage sale....she was a good little salesperson and only complained when we had no customers!  Here she is, eating her breakfast and looking forlornly out the doors for her next victim  customer!!!

She did very well, and earned almost $9!  Some of her patrons gave her a little extra, which helped! She enjoyed counting out her money, although she kept telling us she earned 875 cents, LOL!  She knows that four quarters equal a dollar, but I am sure it seemed like much more when it was tallied it up in cents!  She had a plan on how to spend some of it too...a little trip to the beach!

Thanks for popping in...please play along with the sketch this week, we love to see what you create!  Be blessed!

That is one of my favorite DSP's. Great job with the ribbon. Cassidy could be a poster child for SU colors :-)

Such a gorgeous card, LeAnne! That paper certainly shines on it's own! I just got my pack and can't wait to break it open! Love the ribbon treatment you used. Never tried that one. Does it bulk up the card any? Love that Cassidy had a lemonade stand at the garage sale! That girl is so awesome and see, I probably should have come! Her earnings for a trip to the beach sounds like a plan to me! Ask her is she can squeeze me in her suitcase?! LOL Have a great day and enjoy the weather....it's an A+ kind of day! :)
