Better Together Christmas Layers

Hey peeps!  Happy Wednesday!  The current Jingle Belles challenge is "All Bundled Up"....to have several layers on your card!  This Christmas card I made recently using the Be Merry DSP and a sentiment from Better Together fit the bill perfectly:

This was as easy as pie....I just added the tree-filled DSP layer on a Garden Green card, added a horizontal piece, then stamped and diecut some stitched shapes and added a little tree fussy-cut from a left-over scrap!

It has a nice sentiment for the inside as well, but I forgot to photograph it!  You'll have to imagine how nice it is....."One of the best parts of the season is keeping in touch with you!"  Love it!

Our living room is in total disarray, but Cassidy still found time to read to her dolls!

Many of you have asked how the remodel is coming along...the outside is completed, we are just waiting for the shutters to arrive, hopefully today!  The weather wasn't very sunny the day these pix were taken, but you can see the new gray siding, the addition and the bump-out at the top:

and a small deck coming out from the sliding glass door (the steps are finished now!).  My yard is a TOTAL disaster....we had torrential rains yesterday and the topsoil went everywhere!  The grass will probably not grow back until next year.

Meanwhile, John is drywalling upstairs and is almost done; he will start wiring the lighting and drywalling downstairs after that!  We will subcontract the taping and spackling...that's better left to an expert!  And then I can paint!  The kitchen cabinetry is ordered but it will be at least 6-8 weeks to be built. Long way to go yet, we are taking it a step at a time!  Thanks for asking!

Enjoy your day now and be blessed!

Your house look greats on the outside and hopefully it won't be too much longer until the inside is finished. You seem like your handling it pretty well, LeAnne. Not sure how i'd do with it since I hate things out of place. LOL Your Christmas card is very festive and I love the colors! I have not ventured on to ordering any holiday stuff yet because I am waiting on the holiday mini and then will make a decision but that DSP is SO pretty! Your killing me! LOL TFS all your updates today and hope you are enjoying the nice weather today! Love the breeze blowing thru my windows...ugh, it could stay this way all year!

Great card full of Christmasy layers! I didn't order this DSP so it's fun to see you use it. Love how all the layers are coming together on your house too. It's a process but it's fun to see it come together!

LeAnn I love ALL your cards.... I've been on the road for work and just not blogging as much (needed a break)... but I went back to early June to catch up. Loved all the stories....How exciting for the family... in MANY areas, and the remodeling is looking FAB. Of course that little sweetie pie is growing like a weed, but how fun she will follow in your crafting footprint. Hugs.
