New House Congrats

Hi peeps!  Running a wee bit late school, luckily, because Cassidy had a little mishap on the playground yesterday and has a sprained pinkie finger, which is causing her a lot of pain.  It's better this morning, but we may have to take a wee little trip to the urgent care!  Anyway, I made a quick little card yesterday for my college roommate who just had a new house built....all on her own!  She became a widow a couple of years ago and moved to TX to be near her daughter.  She couldn't find a house that she liked, so she had one built!  The little houses from November's Paper Pumpkin kit were so cute, I just had to use them as a congrats card for her:

I layered them on a piece of DSP from Fancy Pants' Park Bench papers, then layered that on a piece of So Saffron.  The sentiment, stamped in Lost Lagoon, is from Watercolor Wishes:

And just to break up the empty space, I added a little twine bow, using the one-hole method (you can see a tutorial here) so it would stay in place:

So happy you could visit today!

Cassidy with the "Valen-fly" she made at school!  The body was made of a clothespin with googly eyes!  CUTE!

Have a blessed day!
