NAC30 and RS47

DSCF2442

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Yesterday was the start of SU’s Sale-a-bration promotion…always a fun time in the stamping world! I used one of the free sets, Bloomin’ Marvelous, to make a quick card!  I used the Nacho Average Challenge colors for this week:

Nac30

as well as the RetroSketches sketch:

to make this:

The card base is Very Vanilla; paper is from the mini….Print Poetry; all the images and sentiments are from Bloomin’ Marvelous; and the button is also part of the SAB freebie promotion!  Easy peasy!

Cassidy is nearing the age of potty training.  She knows when she is about to “go” because she usually heads for a corner somewhere.  When I found her in the stairway and I confronted her about going on the potty (and getting a special little treat), this is the look I got:

Obviously, she wasn’t having any parts of it!  Well, we’ll keep working on it!!!

Beautiful! I love the flowers and the hummingbird - such a great way to use all of the colors, LeAnne. Perfect card for a cold winter's day - gives us all a reminder of what spring is like. ;)

Hope the potty training goes well!

Love the way you used the sketch and the colours. Great card.

As per the potty training, I used the Potty Training in a Day book with both my kids and they were both done in a day!! Honestly! Best book ever and the system works like a charm.

Those colours are beautiful and so is your card LeAnne. That hummingbird is divine. I had a child that hid in the corner too. That look I know, back off sista! LOL

A very pretty card. I'm a flower person and I like cards that are simple but appear to have some detail to them-you did it! TFS-

Absolutely darling card. Love the new products, and I'm having so much fun playing with mine.
Potty training 101. I did it with M&M's for all my kids and daycare.
2 if you Pooh, 3 if you pee, and one for giving it a try. Kept the jar of M&Ms on shelf in bathroom for years!!

I love how your card turned out, and that's a fun sketch to work with too!

Beautiful card! Bless her heart, hopefully Cassidy will not go back into your archives when she gets older.lol. My daughter used to go hiding too. If I found her behind the recliner with almost that same look, I knew just what was going on, even when she denied it. :) Thanks for sharing your beautiful card. Hope you don't mind be case'd.

Isn't this the greatest little set? I love the colors you've used and the layout! And you've perfectly placed the hummingbird! I dread having to go through the potty training with Jack and getting rid of that pacifier (which should be long gone by now).

LeAnne, what a gorgeous card! I love the pattern paper you selected. It really mimics the flowers you stamped. And the hummingbird adds a nice contrast!
thank you for playing along with us @ NAC.
