PP24, CAS93

DSCF8067

Two cards today, both using the Paper Players colors for this week, which are Cherry Cobbler, Always Artichoke and a neutral (I can’t get the swatch to post here, sorry!).  My first card is an encouragement card for my pastor, using some Our Daily Bread stamps and some BG Stella Ruby DP:

I took a little liberty with the colors in the DP, but since it was a masculine card and not a Christmas card, I thought it would be okay.  It was embellished with some diecut leaves and a fold-over panel stamped with an element from Artistic Etchings and some brads.  The second card is a Christmas card and also qualifies for today’s SCS CAS93 challenge, which is a sketch:

I stayed pretty close to the sketch; the images are from the Level 1 Hostess Set, Northern Hearts; sentiment is from Merry Crittermas; Cherry Cobbler seam binding and a Vintage Brad finished it off.  The image itself was colored with markers, overstamped with Linen background stamp (unfortunately retired) and matted with a scalloped Nestie!  TFL!  And here is my own little “cherry cobbler”:

She is playing with the color challenge too!  Have a great day!

Oh, I wanna' hold that baby so bad!!!!!!!!!

CUTE cards! I love how the Linen background looks stamped over everything. Why'd they retire that, for Pete's sake?

LeAnne, before I can even think to talk about your beautiful cards...I have to ooooh and aahhh over your adorable grand-baby! She is sooo cute! (although I'm pretty sure you would agree 110%!)

Both cards are great! The card for your pastor is so rich with the color combo and that holiday card...I had to look really close because I thought it was cross-stitched. You are so creative, wow! :)
