Good morning, peeps!  I have been away for a couple days and boy, how the email and reader posts pile up!  Please don’t think I am ignoring you…’s the season for gardening, canning, weeding, VBS, stamp camps, vacations and whatever else summer can throw at me!  Somewhere in there, there’ll be a baby, too!  So please forgive me if I seem to be MIA!

I did not get to stamp my Saturday Christmas card, so the pretty sketch at SCS today for CAS76 was just the ticket. Here we go:

I used a sweet vintage chipboard piece from my Brenda Walton box, added some seam binding trim, then mounted it on a panel of one of SU’s new In Colors, Pear Pizzazz.  On top of the Pear Pizzazz, I added a mat of Very Vanilla that was embossed with the SU Finial Press EF.  Some ribbon loops were added using a gold-threaded satin & organdy ribbon I had in my stash!  Really clean and simple!  Thanks for looking today!

  1. Very pretty! Good idea to get started on the Christmas cards but I can't seem to get in the mood for it since it's been so hot! Thanks for sharing!

  2. Just adorable! Love that vintage image and your design! :)

  3. LeAnne, your are distracting me! I need to visit the Graphics Fairy and make one of these....add it to the list! Do you sleep and stamp and can all at the same time? You are amazing girl! I haven't left the computer this morning!

  4. I hope you enjoyed your getaway! I love how quickly you put together another great Christmas card! The ribbon looks gorgeous like that !!

  5. That embossed background looks so elegant with the vintage image tag! I'll be CASEing... ;)

  6. Ohhhh, aaaaaaahhhhhh... Yeahhhhhooooooo! {It's like fireworks, but Christmassy!} THIS card glimmers like the brightest star - OH! That'd be YOU! Great job!

Thanks so much for your comments! I love hearing from you! If you have a question, please be sure to include an email address so I can respond to you quickly!
