TGIF537 With Love

Happy Wednesday, all! I recently got the Extraordinary Flora bundle, and although I have played with the matching washi tape, my card today simply uses the stamp set and die.  I was intrigued by the sketch at TGIF:

So here we go:

I do not have a hexagon die, but I do have a punch, so I punched out a hexagon from Garden Green  cardstock, then cut a 1/4" around the outer edge to create a window.  I stamped the florals in Stazon black ink, then watercolored and diecut them out.  I created my square with some Calypso Coral DSP, then layered some of the florals around the hexagon, and added a sentiment from the same set:

I mounted it on a panel of Basic White, embossed with the Exposed Brick embossing folder, which all went on a white card base.  I left the inside blank and will add a sentiment as I need it!

Here's my final array of b-day cards!  This beauty is from Peggy; the gold leaves and fun sentiment treatment really make this card stand out!

This fun lobster card is from my equally fun friend, Shawn! I love how she combined colors and patterns on this card as well as the SEQUINS!

Finally, this beauty (featuring some of my favorite colors!) from the creative Wendy! I just love this woodgrain pattern!

Again, thanks ladies! You helped me celebrate my birthday a wee bit longer!  And thank you for popping in today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

I love your sweet little swag of flowers and greenery, LeAnne. Well done using what you have at hand for cutting that hexagon - I'm still scratching my head wondering how you cut that window! You have all the skills, my friend!
