Happy Friday, peeps! It's time for a new As You See It Challenge, and we're starting the year off with a speed challenge! Here you go:
We all have scraps decorating our desks, don't we?! So gather them up, get your supplies, set your timer and see what you can create in ten minutes or less!
For my card, I had three Shaded Spruce stitched triangles left on my desk from this project, so I thought this would be a perfect time to use one of them to make a quick Christmas card:
I cut a smaller triangle from some Classic Christmas DSP in the same color and popped it up on a strip of DSP from some Wrapped in Plaid DSP from last Christmas. The sentiment is from Wrapped in Christmas, stamped in Cherry Cobbler:
I colored a Real Red embellishment with a Cherry Cobbler Blend to make it a wee bit darker and adhered it to the top:
And my time was 5 minutes and 51 seconds!
I hope you'll play along with our speed challenge this week and use up some of your scraps! Check out what the DT created as well over at As You See It!
Ginger looks quite interested in Cassidy's gift!
Thanks for popping in today---enjoy it and be blessed!

What a great, quick card! I'll have to check my desk today because you know I love speed challenges!
I wish I could put a card together in 10 minutes, but that's beyond me! LOL I love how this turned out - what a fabulous use for those "scraps!" Mine have accumulated so much I've had to store them in multiple boxes! Oy! Darling photo of Cassidy and Ginger - I love it :)
Love that layered Christmas tree which looks so elegant and modern. Go you on starting on 2021 Christmas cards already too LeAnne! So beautifully designed, you would never know it was made from scraps!
Totally fun! Ten minutes....BAM! Don
't know if I could do it!
What a wonderful Christmas tree, LeAnne! Love the strip of red and white polka dots behind it and the wonderful sentiment!
What a fun tree and polka dots to boot! You can't beat that!
Oh this challenge looks so much fun! What a stunning tree you've made and I love the topper and sentiment you used! Vicky x
