Happy Sunday, peeps! I have another thank-you card, quick and easy, using the Freshly Made Sketches sketch for this week! First, let's check out the card:
I used some of the pretty Share What You Love DSP, backed with some Berry Burst mats, and a sentiment from A Big Thank You, matted with a Tranquil Tide scallop piece:
This set is so versatile; it has more than just thank-you sentiments, and it has a lot of fun little elements! I used a two-step leaf and a heart to add a little pizzazz to the simple design. I layered everything on top of a card that was embossed with the Basketweave EF! And here's the sketch:
We did a little gingerbread-house decorating yesterday! The house was pre-made, and I got the icing into the piping bag, but Cassidy did most of the work herself:
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I love the little hearts and leaves. Great take on the sketch. Cassidy did a beautiful job decorating. Thank you for your card. I did not get any out this year except to our daughter and grandchildren...next year. Our 9 year old fur baby died unexpectedly yesterday. She was the love of our lives, never had been a sick a day and was strictly an indoor kitty. We are reeling.
What a colorful thank you card! Love the patterns on the papers and the woven background! How fun to make a gingerbread house together - so much to eat now and I see the glass of milk is handy! Wishing you and your family a Blessed Christmas LeAnne! Julia xx
Love the pop of pattern and color against the white textured background! And Miss C did a great job on the house!
That's a great thank-you card using the sketch, but I'm fascinated with how well Cassidy decorated the gingerbread house! She's quite talented for a young lady, and I wonder where she gets her skills? Hmmmm :) It's been such a joy watching her grow through your blog posts! Christmas blessings to you and your family - may it be filled with joy, laughter, much love, and memories to cherish through the years :)
This is bright and happy LeAnne, very cute! Cassidy did a great job on her gingerbread house! Merry Christmas!
