Happy Tuesday, peeps! This is the first of two posts today! I was honored when Jane of Retro Rubber chose this card as a winner and asked me to be a guest designer! Thanks, RR team! Here is the beautiful prompt for their newest challenge:
I love these challenges because I know we all have stamps on our shelves that haven't seen any ink for a while, and this is a chance to dust them off! For today's challenge, I used two sets: Array of Sunshine (2011) and Chalk Lines (2014):
I used last week's FMS sketch, which is too late to post, but I still liked it:
I love these big bold flowers! I stamped each one and fussy cut them out, then added black glimmer brads to the center of the Blush Blossom ones; some speckles and Mint Macaron fronds created a background, and the lines of hearts gave it a nice horizontal element! The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs:
I hope that you'll find some time to play with the challenge - we all can use some pretty spring flowers in our life! Be sure to check out the RR blog to see what the other team members created as well!
Well, the construction, or rather demolition, has started! First, part of the concrete patio was scored and removed, then the Bilco door and steps were taken out! What a project!

Cassidy didn't know quite what to make of it when she came home from school!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

It was a great sketch at FMS this week and it's a shame you're too late with it. This is drop dead gorgeous! I love the stitching and the subtle grungy splatter but the kicker is that superb mustard flower. I would never have thought to use that colour but it's fabulous. I'm so pleased you're guest designing this week at Retro Rubber.
OH MY!!! THAT is a huge deal, LeAnne!!! Thank goodness you have these gorgeous cards to make! If you need a get away, you're always welcome!

I too liked this sketch and you did a perfect job with it! You used all of the elements to create a beautiful card! Glad you joined us a GDT at Retro Rubber this go around!
Such a sweet card, LeAnne! I love your combination of great stamp sets and accessories to make this truly beautiful spring card! So happy that you joined us as our Guest Designer and hope you will join us again soon.
LeAnne, it's always awesome to have you as our Guest Designer and this time it's no exception. Love your use of the sketch and our challenge at RETRO RUBBER, beautiful colors on your bouquet of lovely flowers on this beautiful CAS design.
Hope you play again next time.
Hugs,
Maria.
PS. Little Cassidy does look puzzled at all the demolition and noise, can't wait to see the finish project pictures, hope you share them on your blog.
OMG LeAnne, your card is stunning!!! I love the simple elegance and that bright pop of yellow. I am also a BIG fan of adding black and white elements to cards. The demolition looks like this is going to be a mammoth project, can't blame Cassidy for being bewildered. Great to have you as GDT again with us at Retro Rubber. Claire DT
