Happy Monday, everyone! Happy Memorial Day! After attending our local Memorial Day parade on one of the coolest May Saturdays I can ever remember, it was not hard to think of making a Christmas card!!! Here’s the sketch that Lesley has for us all today:
I stretched the sketch a wee bit to make my image work:
I chose to do a monochromatic card in Pacific Point, using a couple of vintage-style stamps and a glittery snowflake ornament from the sale rack at my local big box store!
I added some DD glitter on the snowy image as well! Easy peasy! Now, I hope you’ll play along with us to make another Christmas card for your stash….and check out what the other designers did! You can see them all at Lesley’s blog, Always Playing with Paper! And remember, if you have questions, shoot me an email! Easier to answer that way!
Here are a couple pix of handsome DH cheesing it up at the Memorial Day parade on Saturday…..it was so windy, we almost got blown away, but at least it wasn’t raining!
And my favorite antique fire engine from our local fire company:
Our little town may be small, but we have a lot of heart! Happy Memorial Day!

Beautiful card. I love that color and stamp. Very cool.
What a wonderful picture of your hubby. Mary had a melt down watching the Memorial Day programs. She was thinking about all that her John went through being in the Military. He retired a Lieutenant colonel. He was a n amazing man.
God bless all those who have endured all that it takes to keep our country free. From Booth camp to war.
