AYSI269 Thinking of You

Happy Friday, everyone!  Time for a new As You See It challenge, and we have a recipe for you this week!  Check it out:

Oh my goodness so many choices to make some sweet, fun cards!  Here's my take on it:

I'm trying to use up some of the cute DSP I have....can anyone else relate?  My base paper is from Close to My Heart, a gift from my sweet friend Sheila, and I embossed it with the Dotty Hearts embossing folder..what a fun technique!  The little circles are from Authentique's Meadow line, and I added a  birdhouse from Technique Tuesday, stamped on the same DSP in Misty Moonlight, then fussy-cut.  My final addition was a Tailor Made Tag, stamped with a sentiment from Special Moments and embellished with some embroidery floss!

I used the sketch from Fusion (and I did add in one wee little bird!):

I sure hope you'll concoct something delicious with our As You See It recipe this week!  Be sure to share it with us and check out what the design team came up with as well!  See you there!

"When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?"  Psalm 8:3-4

Stamps:  Special Moments, Home Tweet Home (Technique Tuesday)
Paper:  Basic White, Meadow DSP (Authentique), Unknown by Close to My Heart
Ink:  Blushing Bride, Misty Moonlight
Accessories:  Dimensionals, Embroidery Floss
Tools:  Big Shot, Dotty Hearts Embossing Folder, Stitched Shapes Dies (ret)

Absolutely adorable!!! I love small prints and wish I could find more of them. They work so well with the bird and house. Wonderfully done!

Love those cute papers (I too have a vast collection yet still can't seem to stop adding to it!) and the bird house and tiny bird the perfect finishing touch! I usually struggle with recipe challenges, but this one was a great mix!

LeAnn, who doesn't have a huge paper stash. I only buy solid colours now, so no new paper has been added in 5 years, still can't seem to get my stash down! Love your ard, that embossing folder is wonderful. I love your take on the sketch and the bird theme. Thanks for joining us at The Fusion Card Challenge. Claire DT
