Happy Tuesday, everyone! Taking a break from Christmas cards and squeezing in a couple of challenges today with a birthday card! Seize the Birthday is an “anything goes” challenge, Paper Craft Crew Challenge has this sketch:
and the trend week at Just Us Girls is watercoloring:

So here we go:
I dampened a piece of watercolor paper and lightly dabbled on some Lost Lagoon ink. I pulled some papers from the Pretty Petals stack for my banners, then stamped the feathers from Cheer All Year for the focal point.
A Paper Pumpkin birthday sentiment stamped in Basic Black was bold enough to work against the watercolored background. I also added a few sequins from my stash, added some black glimmer paper elements, and speckled some color on with a wet paintbrush. My sentiment inside is from Cottage Greetings and I stamped another feather as well:
It’s off to the mailbox this card goes! Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy went to her friend Gabby’s birthday party on the weekend. Gabby is all about glam and glitz….Cassidy? Well, she apparently hasn’t given up Halloween yet, LOL!
Enjoy your day!
Hi everyone! We made it to Wednesday! I have a very simple card today, a birthday card for my nephew and I am using the Seize the Birthday challenge of using chevrons. This is a unabashed CASE of this card by Brenda, which I absolutely adored!!! I found some chevron paper in the Fresh Prints pack, and I used a retired SU set called Word Play, along with the car from Rev up the Fun:
I added a little additional chevron from the Tasteful Trim die, and it was done! Nice and easy!!!
Some snow time:
Enjoy your day!

Happy Friday, peeps! Yesterday was such a lovely day, so much like a vacation, I totally forgot to set up my post! Love, love, love the sketch from Seize the Birthday for this week:

Again, some lovely papers from MME along with some retired SU stamps take center stage:
I added a little clear get topper to an image I stamped in white, then stamped over top in Pink Passion to imitate the floral image on the paper:
Now if I could just keep my fingerprints off the sticky part, I’d be okay! If you need info on anything, shoot me an email! Have a glorious day!
A snap from Dana of the wee one:
Ah, it’s Friday, peeps! The end of the week…it’s been a long one! I liked the Seize the Birthday sketch Lesley had this week, so I made two!

I have a plethora of 6x6 pads in a myriad of colors and prints, so I thought I’d better dig into some! The challenge this week at Little Red Wagon is to use at least three prints on your card—not hard to do for me! The first one is my favorite, a pretty blue one with a vintage feel:
The little montage is just part of the paper---I trimmed it down, mounted it on a piece of burlap and added some ribbon. I just love that bird!
The little sentiment is from A Fitting Occasion; burlap was from my stash.
The next one uses a felt flower I made, and I actually sewed all the panels before adhering my center panel. I sewed a wee bit on the flower too:
I like this one, but I think the colors are a bit more subdued….maybe it’s that gray that holds it back! The sentiment on this one is from Papertrey. All papers are from MME: Lost & Found 3, Oliver: Lost & Found 2, Blush, and The Sweetest Thing, Honey.
What can we see with the binoculars?
How about Grampy?
Enjoy your day!

I feel like this is a repeat of yesterday’s post, with blue and yellow playing starring roles! It is a cheerful color combo, but today’s cards feature the Seize the Birthday sketch:

This happens to be MY personal favorite go-to sketch of all time! If I am in a hurry and need a card, you can bet this is the layout I’ll use! A couple of coordinating DPs, a focal image, maybe some ribbon, and I’m good to go! Today I broke out my new Garden Gingham paper along with a new set called Label Love, which will be in the upcoming catalog, as well as a retiring set, Decorate a Daisy:
While I was cutting my paper, I figured I might as well make two! Same design, a few little changes to each one. The first one uses Label Love with the coordinating punch, and I also diecut some banners to place behind it:
I love the vintage look of this stamp, as well as the country feel to the paper!! Makes me smile!
The next one uses Decorate a Daisy along with some ruffled ribbon, a large flower punch and a bit of embossing, as well as a Daffodil Delight mat on the front:
I also added a sentiment from Fabulous Phrases, and embellished it with some pearls! What a great sketch, I love it! Thanks for visiting today!
