Happy Saturday, everyone, Wow, it is rainy, cold and gloomy here in PA today!  I am having a hard time getting started this morning!  But it will be a good day to stay inside and craft, so I’d better get crackin’!

I have a quick little card today using a freebie digital image from The Alley Way Stamps and some fun graphic papers:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings The Alley Way Pup

The “xoxo” sentiment is from SU’s Project Life Remember This set; I also used MaryJo’s sketch from this week’s Technostamper:

I colored him in with some Copics, and popped him up on some dimensionals:

Papers are from MME’s Lime Twist/Fly A Kite line (I think!!  My papers are all mixed up!)  Enjoy your day!

Last week we came home from preschool to find a little female finch stuck inside the bird feeder (excuse the dirty glass, I never think to wash it!!!!):

We lifted the lid off, but she wouldn’t fly out:

DSCF5932

We slid up the glass, and she still wouldn’t fly out!

DSCF5933

We finally coaxed her out and she flew away!!!

It was pretty exciting to be so close to one of these little birds and Cassidy loved it!

ColourQ 184

DSCF3909

Happy Tuesday, everyone! It’s time for another ColourQ challenge!  Here you go:

I believe that Arielle said this purse from NM is $3000…..yikes!  I can assure you that I will not be purchasing this ever!!!  But it is cool, and although I found the colors a bit challenging, I persevered!

LeAnne_CQC184

I went uber-CAS with this card, as I was making it for my little 3-year-old great-nephew!  Although the Blush Blossom is not a color I would typically use on a boy’s card, I knew HE wouldn’t care, and his mom would like it.  It was hand-delivered, too, so the little bell on his collar was not a problem!  The digital image was a freebie (email me if you want to know from where!) and I paper-pieced it with a plaid scrap I had laying around.   I ran some Blush Blossom and Creamy Caramel scraps through my Chevron EF and trimmed them down for my horizontal embellishment. I didn’t have any Going Gray cardstock, so I substituted Basic Gray.  And finally, the sentiment was computer-generated.

I also used the fun sketch #205 from Unscripted Sketches for my layout:

Hope you’ll come play along with us and have some fun with these trendy, fashionable colors!  Be sure to wiggle on over to the ColourQ blog to see what’s shakin’ there too!

Lots of Green!

DSCF3262
Yay, it’s Friday!  I have a couple green cards today for you!  The first is a St. Pat’s card, and it is for the Papercraft Star challenge this week:
I printed out a vintage St Patrick’s Day postcard and mounted it on some green cardstock and DP from MME:
DSCF3261
There is hardly ANY stamping on this card!!  Just this tiny little tag, from another postcard, cropped and cut out, on which I added a little shamrock from Itty Bitties:
DSCF3263
This is also for the Just Add Ink challenge, which is to “just add green”!
My second card is a birthday card for my nephew, and it uses scraps from the above card and an image from The Alley Way:
DSCF3282
I colored my little frog with Copics, cut him out and popped him up;  the sentiment was punched with a circle punch and then sponged through a smaller mask for a fun effect!  The inside of the card has a computer-generated sentiment:  “We would never frog-et your birthday!”

This card is for the Kraft Journal’s Lucky Green challenge as well as the  Retrosketches sketch 54:
Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy is learning to play with a glue stick, stickers and punches!  She really likes putting the punched pieces back into the cardstock, like a puzzle!  Smart kid!

ColourQ 171

DSCF2065

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  Arielle has a fun masculine palette to share today:

I did some paper piecing on a  cute little Alley Way stamp to mimic the stripes in the jacket:

LeAnne_CQC171

To keep the stripe theme going, I embossed part of the Crumb Cake mat with my Stripes embossing folder.  The sentiment was computer generated, and the anchor is from the cute little Happy Whale Embosslit available in the Spring mini catalog!  I mounted my sailboat on an embossed star and a banner from some Authentique paper:

What can you do with these fun colors?  Be sure to sail on over to the ColourQ blog to check out ALL the designers’ samples and get some inspiration of your own!  We can’t wait to see what you come up with!  And remember, if you have any questions….shoot me an email! Happy Stamping!

Oh, the fun you can have with a bunch of cotton balls!

Squish them in your hands:

DSCF8799

Aha!  Two posts in one day!  Had to sneak this one in before the RetroSketches deadline!  Here’s the sweet little sketch:

And here’s my sweet little card:

DSCF8800

Lucky me---I won a cute set from The Alley Way Stamps, so this is my first creation using it!  My sentiment is a freebie from Paper Smooches, printed on vellum…..

DSCF8798

I stamped the little love bug on textured Whisper White and used some Copics to color---the papers from MME’s Lime Twist Happy Go Lucky are so spunky, I had a hard time deciding which pattern to use!  I ended up punching some circles from one of them to use as my little embellishment. The SU Adorning Accents embossing folder was perfect to mimic those punchouts!   I am also entering this in the Moxie Fab World Cardmaking Day challenge—a first for me!

Grampy and Cassidy were sitting at the table, each enjoying a snack.  Cassidy decided that she wanted one of Grampy’s cookies, so she traded him her Cheerios and raisins (served on the lid of a cracker tin) for a cookie!
