Happy Thursday, peeps! Heading toward the weekend! It's time for a new Tic Tac Toe challenge, with Team X and Joanne as the hostess! Here we go:
I have really been neglecting my Christmas card-making lately, so I chose the diagonal of Die Cut, Free, and Gold to create a Christmas card today:
I began with the sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday:
I stamped a poinsettia from Poinsettia Petals in Cherry Cobbler and Versamark inks, then heat-embossed it with some retired Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. Once it cooled, I colored it with ink and an aquapainter. After diecutting, I adhered it to a panel of DSP from Tidings of Christmas and added a scalloped mat of Gold Foil:
I also added some Evening Evergreen "greenery", a gold center and some gold pearls for embellishment. The papers are all from Tidings of Christmas as well. I stamped and heat-embossed a sentiment in gold:
and here's the inside sentiment as well:
I hope you'll play along with our grid this week at Tic Tac Toe! Be sure to check out what the design team created as well! Can't wait to see what you create! And thanks so much for popping in!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

This is beautiful LeAnne! I love the way your focal image really glows against the subtle green background. I do like a dill pickle but in much smaller quantities than Cassidy appears to go for!! Vicky x
Look at you putting that free space to such good use - love the blue spruce green, and of course your gorgeous poinsettia!

Pretty colors, LeAnne! Love the fancy gold frame and fabulous poinsettia. This is a wonderful card!
This is very pretty - love the sprigs behind the poinsettia. Thanks for sharing with us at TSOT :)
I love this card! Thanks for the inspiration. I love to make Christmas cards no matter the time of year.
LeAnne, what a pretty Christmas card! Thank you for the details on how you created your gorgeous poinsettia blossom! Great take on our Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch, too! Thank you for sharing your card and tips!!! -Donna
This is beautiful LeAnne - I love the way your red poinsettia is framed with the gold and the traditional red and green colour combo so very festive. Your card reminds me I've been slacking in this department too! As for the pickles - something else we have in common, Cassidy is welcome to mine too!!
Love this, Leanne - such a pretty take on these poinsettias! This has been such a fabulous set, as your post shows - how cool with the Tidings DSP, too - I have to try that! Thanks so much for playing at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!
Wow! LeAnne, I love the gold with the grey and reds!! Elegant card. I also admire you for continuing work on Christmas...I am always stressing in November. Thank you so much for sharing with Try Stampin' On Tuesday.
