RRCB181 Tic Tac Toe Bunny

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  Time for a new Retro Rubber Challenge, where we get our older stamps inky and show them some love!  We have a Tic-Tac-Toe grid this week; check it out:

I chose to use the right column down of patterned paper, bling and twine, but it also works for the top row across of watercolor, rectangle and patterned paper!  So here we go; I used a SU stamp called Storybook Friends from 2012:

I am always scrambling for children's birthday cards, so I thought this would be a good way to create one!  I stamped my bunny twice, once on a piece of Basic White cardstock, then again on Thick Basic White, watercolored her and fussy-cut her out, popping her up on some dimensionals:

I added a Petal Pink diecut heart and stamped the sentiment separately on a scrap of white and diecut it with the new Stylish Shapes dies.  Finally, I added some Sparkly Organdy ribbon and a little rhinestone on her magic wand.  The card base is Basic White and I used some retired Birthday Bonanza DSP!

I just think she is so sweet, she's going to be hard to part with, LOL!  What will you create with our grid this week?  Just remember to use stamps at least a year old and tell us the approximate age.  You may be able to get some help from Splitcoaststampers if you can't remember how old your stamps are...they have a gallery section that lists lots and lots of stamps by manufacturer, including Stampin' Up!  Thanks for visiting today!  And be sure to pop over to the Retro Rubber blog to see what the other designers created as well!  Thanks for stopping by today!

These handsome little guys attended their great-aunt's funeral on Saturday at our church where I was helping with the luncheon.  Jameson looked very nice in his corduroy jacket and tie; Sawyer was dressed casually because, as Jameson said, "He's too little to go to a funeral" so he went with a friend to a ball game!  So cute!  Jameson also said to his mom after she told him their aunt passed away..."Mommy, you shouldn't be sad.  Aunt Loie is with Jesus now." A sermon in a sentance from a seven-year-old boy!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

"The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Proverbs 18:10

Thank you for sharing your bunny card, but what I liked best was seeing your little Jesus boys and reading the comment about Auntie being in Heaven. You are training them up right!!
