TCC157 Enjoy Your Vacation

Hey stampers! It's Wednesday and that means a new Card Concept challenge, where we challenge you with a fun photo inspiration and challenge you to tell us your stamping style as well!  Here's this week's inspiration:

This is a great photo to get you started on your Father's Day stamping!  Lots of manly images in there...canoes, a minny bucket, camp blanket, an oar....but I took my inspiration from that fun little plaid lunch basket down there on the bottom left!  Reminded me of an old Papertrey favorite, Vintage Picnic!  So here we go:

I stamped my images with Stazon ink and watercolored them in with colors from the photo---Poppy Parade, Bumblebee, and Bermuda Bay---then fussy-cut the picnic basket out and popped it up over the flowers:

My stitched rectangle got a Poppy Parade mat diecut with the Scalloped Contours die; it was a bit too long, so I sliced it and re-glued it together to fit; you can barely see where I made the cut!  My layout was from Try Stamping on Tuesday:

and I used a Stitched Strips die from Pretty Pink Posh to create the vertical as well as the horizontal elements.  There was a simple sentiment in the Vintage Picnic set, so I stamped that in Evening Evergreen on the strip, and a birthday sentiment on the inside:

I would say that my style (as usual) is Clean and Layered!  You can see all the styles listed on the Card Concept blog; be sure to check it out, check out the fabulous creations the Design Team has made, and then share yours with us as well!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

"I am continually with you; you hold my right hand.  You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory." Psalm 73"23-24

I don't know what style this is, except you always put your own wonderful 'LeAnne' style on every card!
Just love that picnic basket 'thermos' style!
