PP601 A Smile for a Sketch

Hi there, stampers!  It's Sunday and that means a new challenge from the Paper Players, where I am the hostess again!  This week I have a really versatile sketch....so many possibilities, I had a hard time choosing what I wanted to use!  But let's look at the sketch first:

Since my garden is taking up a lot of my time, I went uber-easy and used some of the pretty papers from Hues of Happiness to create my card:

Both the background and the vertical piece are from the DSP, diecut with Stitched Rectangle dies; I had some pre-cut florals on my desk left over from a previous project, so I tucked one behind my double-banner sentiment, which is from Lovely You, stamped in Pool Party:

I couldn't help adding a couple of the new Festive Pearls along the larger banner...so soft and pretty!  I left the inside blank so I can add a sentiment at the proper time, since this could be for any occasion!

I know you'll enjoy playing with our sketch...and I hope you'll check out what the DT did at the Paper Players blog.  Comments mean so much to us all...be sure to leave some love!  I cherish all the comments my regular readers leave! ♥  Thanks for popping in today!

The kids should be home by the time I post this, and it has been so fun seeing all their sightseeing expeditions!  My sister Gail lives in Charleston, so she showed them the amazing Angel Oak:

That is one magestic tree!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Love, love, LOVE your card! That tree is awesome. Perry and I got to see it while we were RVing. I have a sand dollar with a painting of the tree on it. So glad they had a wonderful get away. Have a blessed day.

I have seen that huge oak, and it's amazing! Think of all the history it has seen pass by under its boughs. Your blooms are so beautiful! Great paper is always a sure thing for a sketch. I love the pearls too!

Thanks for a great sketch, LeAnne! You picked the perfect pack of patterned papers to show it off. I love how the soft Pool Party grounds all the bright pretty colors in the floral background.
