TSOT208 and CCCB251

DSCF8315
Happy Wednesday, peeps!  The lovely team at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday has a wonderful sketch this week:
and the City Crafter Challenge has a washi tape challenge:
I needed a birthday card for one of my college roommates, and these challenges fit the bill:
LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Flower Patch Birthday Stampin Up
I used a card base of Pistachio Pudding and embossed it with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder.  I wanted to use some DSP that hadn’t seen a lot of use, in this case, Back to Black, and that wonderful photopolymer set, Flower Patch, stamped in Crisp Cantaloupe. I made my banner with two of the Sweet Sadie washi tapes:

I also used some Sweet Sadie for the circular elements, and stamped the birthday sentiment from And Many More:
DSCF8312
Sequins and a couple of pearls finished it off!  It will be off in the mail tomorrow!
Cassidy practicing her shoveling:

Enjoy your day!

I love the soft pastel colors mixed with black and white, so fresh! Eek! You got quite a bit of snow! Meanwhile, I'm nursing a mild sunburn... I'll be back to the snow in a few days!

Yes - I love the colors too. Something about the soft green and the stark black that really works well. You've used this sketch magnificently. Thanks for joining us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday. Take care.
