Happy Sunday, peeps and welcome back to a new year of Paper Players' challenges, along with our new guest designers! Ann is our first hostess of 2023, and here is her challenge:
My sweet friend Robyn celebrated a birthday last week, so I just had to pull out some new goodies to make a card for her! Here we go:
I used papers from Regency Park and Country Gingham, and this fun set, which I've not seen much in blogland, Best Family Ever! Not only does it have all one's family members, it also has some fun words you can mix and match! I stamped these words in Sweet Sorbet on a Basic White tag that was diecut with the Tailor Made Tags dies:
I added some Pale Papaya ribbon, tied with some twine, and I added a little rhinestone-embellished flower from the Love For You set! And she was happy to receive this!
I hope you'll check out what the DT created this week, and give some love to our new guest designers Tara, Fran & Suzy at the Paper Players blog! Enjoy your day and be blessed!
The kids went to the PA Farm Show yesterday.... Cassidy's first time, and Dana probably hasn't been there for 30 years! It was packed, so they rode the shuttle from the parking lot:
Checked out some critters:
Wayne is a sales manager for a produce company, so this display of apples in the shape of the state of PA was a bit hit with him!
And my personal favorite, the butter sculpture! The sculpture features a calf and her owner, a tree, the keystone emblem (Pennsylvania is the Keystone State) and another figure. There was a video of the artist sculpting the butter, and it has to stay in a temperature-controlled, refrigerated display case!
My family knows that my motto is "Everything is better with butter" so you can see why I love this! This would butter a lot of toast! Yum!

Your card is "festive." Loving the papers you used...I placed an order yesterday for both those paper packs and seeing your creation has given me inspiration!
What a pretty birthday card, LeAnne! I love the colors and your pretty papers! The tag completes it beautifully! I saw that the PA Farm Show started and every year the butter sculpture is awesome! Any chance they tried the milkshakes there? They say they are AMAZING! Have a great day! :)
What a wonderful card to see on such a dismal gray day, LeAnne! I'll bet Robyn really appreciates this bright and darling card - love these colors!
I hope there was someone collecting the 'wasted' butter during that sculpting - unbelievable and beautiful!

What a lovely happy card for your friend's birthday! Looks like a good time, bet Cassidy loved it!
Such a pretty, cheery birthday card, LeAnne! Your card convinced me that I do, in fact, need the Regency Park DSP in my crafty stash so I placed an order yesterday to get it (and okay one or two other things). Love the mix of patterns you chose!
What a pretty mix of patterns on your papers - love the colors too! What a fun time at the Farm show! xx
What a wonderful mix of patterns and colors, LeAnne! The ribbons and flower are such fun accents for the tag. Thank you for rocking the tag challenge!
LeAnne, this is gorgeous! I love all the bright colors and mix of patterns. Such a happy card. This will make someone very happy on their special day! Looks like they had a blast at the farm show! Happy New Yew, My Friend!
LeAnne, that is a LOT of butter! :-) Your card is fabulous. I love the mix of DSP and the fact that you tied (literally) the colors together with the ribbon and twine. It's those little details that make this card so special.
Hugs
Jaydee
Love the blend of peaches and corals and that cute little sentiment tag makes a great central focal point. Oh and the butter sculpture is AMAZING!
LeAnne, your card just makes me smile! Love the cheery colors and fun mix of patterns! That butter sculpture is something to behold...WOW!
