Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you have a nice weekend planned! It's time for the latest As You See It challenge, and our theme is "Feathers"! I pulled out an old Papertrey stamp for my card today:
And here's our prompt:
I will admit that this didn't come out quite the way I had planned, but what can I say! I stamped the image in Lost Lagoon on some pretty grungy-look papers, left the stamp in my stamp positioner and stamped it again in Versamark, then heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. It was easy to fill in the spaces with some matching Copics. I chose lighter colors as I was afraid the darker ones would be too harsh:
The sentiment is a really old SU one called Friend to Friend; I also added a little linen "bow" at the top of the feather! A get well sentiment from Technique Tuesday went on the inside, and I added a little Cloud Cover feather on top! The base is Cloud Cover as well:
