Happy Tuesday, all! My card today features an unusual color palette, coming from the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown challenge:
I really had to put on my thinking cap for this one! I recently got some new Unity stamps called Winter Foliage, so I did some creative stamping and fussy-cutting and came up with this simple card:
I cut and embossed a panel of Basic White, using a Taylored Expressions Cross-Stitch die, then stamped my foliage in Perfect Pine at the top, adding a sentiment from SU's retired Seasonal Tags in the same color. On a scrap piece of white, I stamped the foliage again in Crisp Cantaloupe and fussy-cut it out, gluing it over the first image. Finally, stamped the pine cone on a scrap of Kraft in Pecan Pie and added it:
I added a few peach-colored sequins just to jazz it up a bit, then added a Crisp Cantaloupe mat and some piney paper from an old Kaiser Craft pad called Home for Christmas. It all went on a Perfect Pine card. Unusual, but it's good to get out of our comfort zone occasionally, right? Thanks so much for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

LeAnne, it is unusual, but you've found a really beautiful way to highlight them! That pine-y paper was just the ticket!
