Happy Sunday, peeps! Today is our 800th sketch at the Paper Players! That is really hard to believe! Ann has decided to go back to our first sketch and do a throwback challenge! Here we go:
So here we go:
This sweet little silhouette image is from a set that I bought at a yard sale a few weeks ago; I stamped it on a piece of Basic White, fussy-cut it out and blended some Balmy Blue ink on it to match the embossed piece behind it. The floral paper is from Authentique, called Meadow, and I added a wee bit of gingham for fun.
The sentiment and silhouette are actually one stamp, so I taped off the silhouette portion and stamped the sentiment portion again, diecutting it with a banner die:
A sentiment from The Greetery's Laid Back Basics went on the inside:
I hope you'll play along with our special challenge this week, and help us celebrate our 800th challenge! Check out what all the designers created at the Paper Players blog, then share yours with us as well! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

800th!! OH, that is so exciting! Congratulations to you and your fabulous team for all the beautiful inspiration to play over the years!
You have the sweetest silhouette stamps, LeAnne! This one was destined to be yours and couldn't be cuter! LOve the wee print, embossed daisies, and your signature gingham could not have been left off such a special card!

What a sweet card with such a lovely sentiment, LeAnne! This image is precious, and pairs so well with the beautiful blue embossed background and pattern paper. I always love the silhouette cards you create. Have a wonderful week!
Just had to congratulate you on the 800th challenge post, what a lot of inspiration and fun you've given us! I love the sweet silhouette and soft colors, and the gingham is perfect for this pretty card.
Wowee, 800!! Congrats, that's awesome!! You card is so sweet. The silhouette is such a darling image and I love the paper you used in the background!
This is such a lovely combination of elements LeAnne - and what a pretty silhouette stamp, definitely destined for your collection. Just beautiful!
Love the soft colors and your embossed panel!
A beautiful card, LeAnne! I love silhouette stamps though it can be tricky to get good ink coverage with them, yours looks fabulous. That background paper is right up my alley too, I love patterns like that. Hope you have a fabulous week!
What a lovely card! It is so you - I think I'd have picked you as the creator from a line-up: the pretty paper, a touch of embossing, a touch of gingham, silhouette stamps and a warm sentiment. 800 is a wonderful milestone - here's to many more years!
This is SO sweet! The silhouette is lovely with the embossed flowers and the patterns. I love how you grounded it with the gingham ribbon!
LeAnne, it's hard to believe we have been doing this for 800 challenges! I love your silhouette and what a fabulous sentiment. I love how you used the embossed flowers with that background and the touch of black and white gingham is just the perfect finishing touch.

LeAnne, you've long been an inspiration for me and this card is no exception! I will sound like an echo, but silhouette, gingham and pretty layers are some wonderful signature qualities of so many of your beautiful cards. I adore those sweet girls and how you used the layout with the embossed and dsp layers. So pretty!
LeAnne, what a beautiful silhouette! I loved the embossed flowers in the background and the DSP you used. The black and white gingham is perfect and the sentiment is just lovely! SMILE! Have a great weekend, My Friend!
