A Little Bit of Christmas

Happy Friday, peeps!  I haven't been keeping up on my Christmas cards, and I saw a couple challenges that looked interesting, so I went to work!  The first one is for Christmas 24, which is a sketch:

I have had this little piece of snowman DSP sitting on my desk for a while, and I decided now would be a good time to put it to use!  I snipped out one of the larger sparkly snowman and a little tree, and adhered him to one of the red papers in the same series:

My banner is from last year's In Colors DSP, and the sentiment is from The Stamp Market, diecut with a Sweetly Stitched die.  I used a piece of Real Red ribbon for my horizontal accent.

My second card is for the Jingle Belles Very Vintage Christmas challenge; I have tons and tons and tons of vintage Christmas papers, stickers, diecuts, you name it......so I pulled a few Melissa Frances stickers, adhered them to some lacy paper and added a few glimmer paper snowflakes:

Because I had so many stickers to add, I made this card a little larger than normal.  (When cleaning out my dad's house, we found lots of lots of larger envelopes he had saved, so I sized it fit one of them!) I added a vintage sentiment from Tim Holtz, stamped in Seaside Spray, and I also colored some pearls with a Blend to add to the centers of the snowflakes:

Aren't these vintage images cute?  They all went on a Seaside Spray card base....two more for my Christmas card stash!  Thanks for popping in today!

Cassidy's been keeping herself busy with coloring pages and puzzles (and a football drink holder!!):

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Getting lots of Christmas cards made is a fantastic idea for some of this extra time we have, LeAnne!
Your Snowman seems to be totally wrapped up in the occasion... and I always adore your vintage Christmas cards!

I've been immersed in Easter and then it turned out to be Christmas on your blog LeAnne! I love the jolly snowmen on your first card but my favourite is the vintage card. I've been racking my brains over this challenge and you've reminded me of a stamp set I can use! Glad you're all keeping busy. Vicky x
