Happy Monday, peeps! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! The sun finally made an appearance yesterday and we had a lovely Easter service and a delicious potluck at my nephew's!
I thought I would share the original card I made for the Paper Player's paper piecing challenge yesterday, but decided it wasn't CAS enough! I used the CAS(E) this Sketch sketch for my layout:
And since I am really behind on my Christmas cards, decided to use an ornament stamp from an old Waltzingmouse stamp set for my creation:
I stamped the ornament on a scrap of Authentique's Christmastime paper, but the black Stazon didn't really show up very well. Since I used my Stamparatus to stamp it, I cleaned off the stamp, re-stamped it with some Versamark ink, then heat-embossed it with some black embossing powder! Much better! I did the same on some Brushed Silver cardstock for the ornament top, then fussy-cut them both out and mounted them on an embossed panel:
My sentiment banner is from a couple of different diecuts, and I stamped a little snowflake from a past Paper Pumpkin kit on each end just for fun!
A few family pix from yesterday:
And Cassidy couldn't wait to hold Sawyer...although he doesn't like to be held very long!
Thanks for popping it...enjoy your day and be blessed!

Your stash just overwhelms me. I think with all your stamping goods, it might be akin to your father's tools...lol! I always look forward to what you pull out and wonder where you keep it and how you know it's there! At first glance, your beautiful card looks CAS to me but then when I think about the heat embossing, I guess it might fall out of that realm. Like you, "no matter", I like it! Glad it turned out to be good weather for you, your family and church family. We had a nice afternoon at my brother's and the weather was perfect!
Love the stitches on that ornament! Cute card! And looks like you had a sunny Easter! We only had a half day of sunny but I’ll take it!
I like that little polka dotty ornament, this is cute! Love the family photos too. Sounds like you had a wonderful day!
