DSCF0203

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  Today I have a fun card to share with you using the  current sketch from Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!  I LOVE this sketch!

I had this little phone stamp from HG Stamps on my desk for another project and it was just crying out to be used!  It was perfect for the four circles on the sketch—I stamped them in Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango, then punched them out with a circle punch and mounted them on some Confetti Celebration DSP:

I added some Bermuda Bay baker’s twine and a quick little sentiment using the Epic Alphabet photopolymer set, embellishing it with a little flower and candy dot:

This just makes me smile!  I hope you’ll play along with the sketch as well; you can share your creation at the Try Stampin’ on Tuesday blog, or on our Facebook page as well!  Have fun!  And be sure to check out what the other designers did with the sketch as well!

I was tidying up my craft room, putting away my retired ink pads and reinkers, and when Cassidy spied my box of old reinkers, she asked to play with it:

Eventually she had them all out and lined up….and to her credit, she put them all back very nicely and neatly! Enjoy your day!

One-Layer Vintage Thank You

DSCF0345

Hi everyone, hope you had a good weekend!   I had a busy Friday & Saturday, and Sunday we had our church picnic, but the afternoon was leisurely and productive!  I did get a wee bit of stampin’ time in and made a one-layer card (which is a challenge in itself), for three challenges:  CASology wants vintage; Just Us Girls has a word challenge of “summer”; and As You See It wants one layer!   I needed a thank you card for a friend, so I pulled out some Artistic Outposts stamps, a Very Vanilla cardbase and went to work, doing some collage stamping:

I really wanted to add some layers, but I was determined to just use my stamps!  I stamped the images in Mint Macaron and Soft Sky, with an “oops” of Pool Party (pulled out the wrong ink pad!!).  I did add a wee bit of baker’s twine and did some sponging around the edges.  Stamps used were Boardwalk and A Lovely Day.  I added my sentiment  from SU’s Fabulous Four and some shells to the inside:

Paper Players 248

DSCF0218

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!  Today, our Paper Players hostess is Joanne, and she has a timely challenge for us:

Although masculine cards don’t usually challenge me, for some reason I had trouble getting “revved up” this week!!  My third attempt finally seemed to be acceptable!

I love the images on these Echo Park This & That papers, and sadly, my stack is almost depleted!  I wanted to get the full effect of the images, so I made a BIG card – 5.25” – and used some scraps up too.  I cut out some  little images from another sheet,  and stamped the postage stamp from Postage Due and tucked them in the corner along with some cool brads.

I also stamped the car from the Guy Greetings set and used the sentiment and one of the little hats!  The corner piece is the new Mint Melody, and it is embossed with a CB Diamond Plate embossing folder.  I also used the sketch from Mojo Monday, flipping is so it didn’t look as if my car was driving off the edge of the card!

I sure hope that you’ll play along with the Players this week and share your masculine creation!  You can check out what the other designers did right here:

Fusion and CCMC358

DSCF0272-001

Howdy peeps!  A whirlwind week and weekend here in PA, so this will be short & sweet!  I have a graduation party to attend, and I even though I thought the Fusion inspiration photo was AWESOME, I only used the sketch:
as well as the Create with Connie & Mary colors:

So here we go:

Sentiment is from Something to Say; balloons are from last month’s Paper Pumpkin; stars were stencilled on with So Saffron ink.  Although it’s tough to see, the popped up stars are Gold Foil, Hello Honey and Gold Glimmer:

and I stamped the Class of 2015 stamp on the inside with the sentiment from the Paper Pumpkin kit too:

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  Any of you out there use LiveWriter to do your blog posts?  I am so glad that Microsoft and Blogger worked out the glitches!!  The little things are so important, right?!  Okay, nuff about that, I have a quick little get-well card today, using the sketch from Freshly Made Sketches:

and the colors from Fab Friday:

Such a great color combo!  I pulled out a little image from the retired Storybook Friends and did some watercoloring:

I had to flip the sketch to make my image work, but isn’t this little kitten so sweet in Hello Honey?

And along with the sentiment from And Many More, I made a little heart button by gluing three hearts together, punching some holes and adding twine:

My image is stamped in Stazon Black on SU’s Watercolor Paper; I also used Unity’s Gurnsey Gingham on my background!  Now this one needs to go out in the mail ASAP!  Enjoy your day!

MM161 and AYSI089

Happy Tuesday, everyone!  A quick little card today for the Merry Monday sparkle, shimmer & bling challenge:

as well as this fun sketch from As You See It:

AYSIChallenge089

and here's my card:

Thanks to my friend Laurie, who is the diecut QUEEN, I had to have this cute little snowman die from Impression Obsession!  I cut him out in Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and cut off his arms, then cut him again in Chocolate Chip and glued the layers together.  I added a strip of black in the back as well as a little orange nose, then hand-cut a little hat!

Papers are from Graphic 45 Botanical Tea; don't they look like snowflakes?  I punched them out with a 1" square punch, then alternated them across my Natural White card so the lines didn't look so matchy matchy!  A sparkly sentiment from Good Greetings and some sequins, and my card is done!

Thanks for visiting today!

Cassidy LOVES strawberries, and she saw an ad in the grocery store where a girl put a cherry tomato on her nose, so she took the biggest one she could find and put it on her nose!  Silly girl!

Then she ate it, and then a few more!

Enjoy your day!

CYCI72

Happy Monday, everyone!  It's hot, sticky, steamy and wet today, but I am happy for the rain we got last night.  Now my yard needs to be mowed - AGAIN - but I have been praying for all those Texans who got waaay too much.  Yikes!  Speaking of rain, I have an "umbrella" card...well, a shower card, for you today.  I had another customer who needed a bridal shower card, so I used the sketch from Can You Case It this week:

CYCI#72
It's really a simple card; used some papers from MME's Lost & Found Heirloom line; a little umbrella from C9's Baby set, which was stamped and embossed with Strawberry Slush, Versamark and clear EP, then I added some sequins, pearls and a little sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes:

And I pulled out the retired Fabulous Phrases for the inside sentiment:
