CTS350 Season's Greetings

Hello again, stampers!  I had the honor of winning a guest designer spot for CAS(E) This Sketch for a card I did way back in August, and this is my week!  And I love the sketch too; check it out:

Isn't that a great versatile sketch?!  So of course, I am still working on Christmas cards (I need to count them, I may have enough, LOL!) and I finally broke into my hoarded Wonderland paper from Kaisercraft.  This particular pattern has embossed tan stars along with the white ones, so I thought it would look great with a big embossed sentiment!  Here we go:

I diecut two Concord & 9th sentiments from Naturals White cardstock three times and adhered them together.  I then "smushed" the front side of the sentiments in Versamark ink, then heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.  You can't see it here, but they are really shiny and coordinate nicely with the embossed paper!  It's a great way to step up a diecut and still keep your card simple!

Be sure to check out what the other designers created with this fabulous sketch and share yours as well!  You can find all the details at the CAS(E) This Sketch blog!  And thanks for popping by today!

Right at the entrance to the gardens at Longwood was this incredible pinecone "sculpture"...quite impressive!  It even looked frosty!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Such a pretty card, LeAnne! Love the colors and that beautiful diecut! It always helps to have fabulous paper to do most of the work! Well done! That pinecone sculpture is quite impressive! Isn't it amazing the creativity that people at Longwood can bring to flowers!? I've never been there but from looking at your pictures they do a beautiful job!

So lovely to see you guesting at CAS(E) this Sketch this week LeAnne - congratulations! I love the card. The background paper is beautiful but those sentiment dies are going on my wish list! Your stacking and embossing tip is a great idea too. Isn't that pine cone sculpture amazing? I find gardens good places for inspiration :)

Congrats on your guest design spot, and what a lovely card you've created! The triple layered sentiment looks fabulous on that pretty designer paper and the colors are so warm and wonderful too! Been catching up on the elf correspondence - that is too too cute :) It reminds me of a note my DGD left for Santa some years ago with 2 hand-drawn boxes telling Santa to write his phone number and email address within them LOL
