PP450 Season's Greetings

Happy Sunday, everyone!  It's my turn to host over at the Paper Players, and I have a color challenge for you today!  Check out these bright hues:

I really had no plan in mind when I chose these colors, so when it came time to create, I admit, I had to wrack my brain to come up with something!  I came across this piece of Blueberry Bushel polka-dotted paper in my stash and thought it looked like snow, so I took that idea and ran with it, creating another Christmas card for my stash:

I recently saw a card with this adorable row of houses, and when I saw the whole set, I knew I had to get it (it's from Lawn Fawn).  I stamped them in Stazon and colored them with a blender pen and ink, then cut them out with their matching dies.  I added some little trees, some stitched snowy hills and of course, some glitter on their snowy rooftops:

The set comes with a sentiment as well, and I added a couple of snowflakes from a past Paper Pumpkin kit:

and the inside sentiment is also from the Paper Pumpkin set, and I added some snowmen for fun!

I am also entering this in the Little Red Wagon challenge this week, which is Christmas!!

The design team has created some incredible cards with these colors....you can check them all out at the Paper Players blog right HERE!  Then you can get inspired and share your creations with us too!  Can't wait to see them!  Thanks for popping by!

Speaking of blues and greens, a recent trip to the farm where we get our eggs prompted Cassidy to go check out their peacocks:

There's a lot of foliage around the cage, so it's hard to get a good view of how beautiful they are....plus they don't like us very much, so they usually turn around and show us their backsides and shake ALL their feathers...quite impressive!   And have you ever heard a peacock?  They sound like a baby crying...sort of eerie!! Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I love these colours on your Christmas card LeAnne - they pack a colourful punch and your row of houses with their glittery roofs is adorable against that spotty snowy sky. Just lovely! Great peacock photo - I know what you mean about the noise they make, they have a whole bunch of them that roam the gardens at Warwick Castle and when they all get going, usually in the evening, they do make a racket!

Only you could turn those colors into a Christmas card :-) I love your card and the photos of the peacock. We had one strut through our front yard a few years ago. I hear them every Sunday when I go to church. Once in awhile I can hear one in the distance from our house. They are such a beautiful creation.

There is a park/preserve here in Georgia called Yellow River Game Ranch where the peacocks and deer roam free. Their peacocks are very gentle and friendly, but they've been hand fed all their lives. You are right about their sounds... not what you would expect from such a majestic bird! I absolutely love your card! Might be casing it to some extent for this year's mini mass production :-)

LeAnne, fabulous use of the colors and this set! I love the sparkly snow on the rooftops, too. As for your peacock - they are gorgeous animals. I remember on a trip in a game preserve in India it was a very foggy morning and we could hear the wild peacocks calling through the fog. It just seemed so surreal. Thanks for evoking that wonderful memory
