Happy Sunday, everyone! Time for a new Paper Players challenge, with Anne Marie as our hostess! Check out these lovely colors:
I needed a sympathy card this week, so I used the new SAB Special Moments for my sentiment, and an Altenew Dot Botanicals for the background:
The recipient loves bird-watching, so I pulled out an older bird die, cutting it from some Pale Papaya cardstock and backing it with Calypso Coral. I also sponged the edges with CC ink and colored his beak and feet with a Blend. I had the Just Jade stitched border left over from another project and I thought it would be a nice way to add a bit of color.
After stamping the sentiment with Calypso Coral, I diecut it with the panel die from Pierced Blooms and stamped another Dot Botanical image overtop with Pale Papaya ink. I finished it off with a stitched banner from Tasteful Labels dies:
On the inside, I added a Bible verse from Sweet n Sassy and a couple more botanicals.

I love the dotty effect of those stamps LeAnne and I do think these colours make for an uplifting sympathy card that will be appreciated, I'm sure.
All those dots make for a beautiful card for such a sad occasion! I just love that little birdie and the banner below the sentiment panel! Eden is really a beautiful dog!

LeAnne, I love your little bird die and how you layered the colors for him. The sponging on the breast adds another layer of interest. Fabulous use of the colors and I know your card will be much appreciated

A beautiful sympathy card, LeAnne! The simple dotted images are the perfect backdrop for the sweetest little bird die cut I have ever seen. The sentiment is so meaningful. I know the recipient will find comfort.
