I went CAS for my card today, using the three elements in the top row across: stitching, metallic and patterned paper; I also have gems/dots and diecuts in there too! So here we go:
I used the new Stitched Rectangle dies to create a trio of trees from the Brushed Metallic cardstocks...they feature shades of bronze, copper and gold! Very pretty! Here's a different angle:
They were mounted on a piece of gold-embossed Gilded Autumn DSP and topped with some gold star sequins and metallic gold pearls:
A sentiment from Banner Year was heat embossed in copper embossing powder and the edges were punched with the Triple Banner Punch:
This went together really quickly....I can't wait to play with these dies some more! However, I'm taking a little blog vacation, so playing will have to wait! I will see you back soon! Meanwhile, I hope you'll

John always plants a garden...and he always plants the same things, but how successfully they grow varies from year to year! This year, we had lousy zucchinis and cucumbers, but we had amazing green beans, a plethora of peppers and some awesome watermelons and cantaloupes! We shared this one with my nephew and his family....it's bigger than Jameson's head....Timmy said he weighed it and it was almost 27 pounds! And it was not seedless, so it was delicious....because we had one too! (I think the seedless ones have no taste!)

Look at that watermelon - so happy they melon-ized Sawyer's outfit to match! lol So THAT's why watermelon tastes like nothing? I was quite the competitive seed spitter when I was a kid!

Love your brushed metallic trees LeAnne - such a modern, CAS card for Christmas! Funny we had poor zuchini too this year, although amazing tomatoes and squash! A little too cold here for watermelons - that one is amazing!!

Our garden is seeing a plethora of zukes and tomatoes but the green beans were a disappoint. How wonderful that you had a bounty of watermelons, that's an amazing one in the pic! And now I understand why some of them taste so good and others not so much.

Love your trio of Christmas trees. The metallics make a great Christmas card. I have not had a watermelon with seeds in years.....but as a child, we never had seedless watermelons! I always thought the lack of taste was just my horrid produce selection in Wyoming. I will have to try getting one with seeds next time!
