Happy Friday, everyone! It's time for a new challenge at As You See It....oh, this one made me struggle!
How can we choose a favorite duo?? There are so many combinations to choose from! Eventually, I chose "Tiffany" blue, in this case, Soft Sky, and tan (kraft). I think Soft Sky was one of the best colors that SU ever came out with and I was so sad when it retired! I have a little stash left and I use it sparingly! So here we go:
I pulled out a lot of oldies for this beachy card today! The seashell plate was stamped in Crumb Cake and diecut with a square stitched die, and some torn Kraft cardstock was adhered behind it.
The Soft Sky card base was stamped with an old Cornish Heritage Farms cheesecloth stamp, then I added some Crafty Secrets beachy images along with a few water droplets:
A little loop of Linen Braid and some gold Metallic Pearls finished it off. I left it blank, no sentiment, but I think this will end up being a thank you card!! So happy you popped in today! Hi LeAnne! What a pretty card - it has such a soft vintage feel to it and I agree with you...that Soft Sky is one of my favorites, too! You'd never know that these are "oldies" - the images seem timeless!
