CTS385 Birthday for Cassidy

It is really hard to wrap my head around the fact that my granddaughter will be TEN on Monday!  Where did those years go?  Last year she decided she did not like girly, frilly things--no pinks, no lace, no sparkle---boohoo.  Definitely a tomboy!  SO, for her card this year, I pulled out SU's Camouflage background stamp (cuz she loves camo!) and used the simple sketch from CTS for her birthday card!  First, the card:

This went together in a snap...I stamped the camo in Soft Seafoam on Sahara Sand, and the sentiments from A Grand Kid were stamped in Pear Pizzazz and diecut with a zig-zag circle die.  I didn't quite space the sentiments the way I wanted, so I added the little diagonal strip from Jar of Flowers between the two:

A couple more cute sentiments (and another diagonal strip to pull it all together) on the inside, and it was done, ready for ten $1 bills to go inside!

And here's the sketch from CTS:

She's having a little pizza and pool party today---not many kids are allowed to come, so it will be small, but she'll still have fun!  Thanks for popping in! And no pictures today but hopefully I will get some from the party!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I like that camo and I know I'll have to order the Grand Kid set. Hope y'all have a fun day. I have a feeling I sent her a pink card...can't remember!

I think your fabulous design brain just knew that stripe-y strip was going to make that circle sing, LeAnne! LOve the zig-zag of these circle dies, too!
Such a fun camo-card for a fun 10 year old kid - how DID that happen? and a darling addition in our CTS gallery! Thank you, friend!

I love camo too when it's as stylish as this! The label is lovely with its decorative edges and I love your tip for pulling the two sentiments together. Hope Cassidy has a wonderful time - a pizza pool party doesn't have to be crowded to be fun! Vicky x

I can't believe Cassidy is ten already! Where did that decade go so quickly? I love this custom-made card just for her. The sentiments are so sincere and fun and I know she's going to love it!

What a great and thoughtful card. I can hardly believe she'll be 10. It's been such a pleasure watching her grow up through your posts. Wishing her a very Happy Double Digit Day!!!

This is the best kind of card LeAnne, when it’s perfectly made with the recipient in mind - I’m sure Cassidy will love it! Glad she is managing some celebrations too. 10 years old - how time flies!
