So Very Vellum Hold on to Hope

Happy Friday, everyone!  I got some new SAB goodies to play with!  (You can see all the SAB items  here!)  I just love this embossed colored vellum called So Very Vellum....such a beautiful sheen to it and in such pretty colors, and available with a $50 purchase before tax and shipping!  I was just playing around with it and came up with this:

I diecut a cross from the Cross of Hope dies with Silver Foil, and I really liked the intricate look of it  without any of the cuts popping out, so I cut a plain cross to back it and adhered it together.  I also heat-embossed a sentiment from Hold on to Hope in silver embossing powder and diecut it out as well:

I wanted to add a little bit of interest to show beneath the vellum, so I stamped the floral image from the same set in Pool Party on some Whisper White cardstock and layered it on top of a Pool Party card, then layered the vellum on top:

My final embellishments were a little rhinestone in the center of the cross that I colored with a blend, and a little butterfly!  I can't wait to play with the other colors of this beautiful vellum!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

I'm always pleased to see vellum, LeAnne - it continues to be a favorite supply of mine. Embossed, and in color?? That's kicking it up a notch, and a half!
Such a beautiful Easter card!

This stamp set has been so under used by me. I love your card. I didn't get the vellum, but I do like it. I got enough SAB items to last me a lifetime! Have a blessed weekend.
